Why Turkey
Why Azerbaijani students choose Turkey
Degrees taught in English
Many private universities teach medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, business and psychology fully in English.
Admission on your grades
Private universities usually admit international students on their Attestat (certificate of complete general secondary education) grades, without a central entrance exam. Some programs, such as medicine, set higher requirements.
Clear fees before you apply
See the tuition fee and deposit of every program in our program search, so you can plan your budget first.
Approved universities
Every university in Turkey that we work with is approved by YÖK, Turkey's Council of Higher Education. The North Cyprus universities we work with are also recognized by YÖK.

FAQ
Questions Azerbaijani students ask us
Can Azerbaijani students study in Turkey in English?
Yes. Many private universities in Turkey and North Cyprus teach full degree programs in English. Our program search shows the teaching language of every program.
Do I need IELTS?
Not always. Universities accept different English certificates, and many run their own English proficiency test. If you do not reach the required level, you can usually start with an English preparatory year.
Can I study medicine in Turkey?
Yes. Several private universities teach medicine in English. Requirements are higher than for most programs. Read our guide to studying medicine in Turkey in English.
Will my degree be recognized in Azerbaijan?
Recognition of a foreign degree in Azerbaijan is decided by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the rules can change. Check that your university and program meet the current rules before you enroll. Fields such as medicine can have extra licensing steps. Read our guide to Turkish degree recognition.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the university and the program. You can see current tuition fees and deposits in our program search, and living costs in our cost of studying in Turkey guide.
Is your service free?
Yes. Our admission and registration help is free, and you pay tuition directly to the university.
Should I choose Turkey or North Cyprus?
Both offer English-taught degrees. Turkey has more universities and big cities such as Istanbul; North Cyprus has smaller campus towns. Read our North Cyprus guide, or ask an advisor to compare options for your program and budget.
Are there scholarships?
Many private universities offer discounts to international students, and Turkey also has the government Türkiye Bursları scholarship. See our scholarship guide.
